Library

The Library opened in March of 1962, and moved in the same year into newly constructed in 1977. And then in remodeled in 2001. It covers an area of 3,862 square meter, and is equipped with 612 seats. It possesses not only 170,000 collected books, but also journals, dissertations, elementary school textbooks and electronic materials. It provides timely academic information for course-work and research and enables students and faculty members to access various materials.


Education Information & Resource Laboratory

Through research on and distribution of audio-visual materials, the laboratory pursues effective instruction and learning, and helps students improve their cultural knowledge and make good use of their free time. Its activities cover a wide range of collection and production of audio-visual materials, audio-visual facility operation practice, information provision, technical support and the running of video-watching corners.


Elementary Education Research Center

Major activities of the center are divided into field cooperation research, planning research, coordination and assistance of the professors' research on elementary education, the publication of the 'Journal of Elementary Education' and various research reports and seminars for the improvement of elementary education. The science Education Research Center and Museum of Education are under the control of the center.


Science Education Research Center

The center fosters and supports research in elementary science and math education. It encourages the development of new ways of teaching through the exchange of scientific and educational information among teachers and education professionals. It also provides counseling services to improve teaching quality and promote professional development.


Museum of Education

The Museum of Education serves both the university and the public in its mission to uphold and develop our cultural inheritance, and to establish our own national view of history by exploring, investigating, and excavating Korean historic sites and remains, as well as collection, exhibiting, and studying the artifacts of education, history, ethnic customs, and archaeology.


Computer Center

The Computer Center provides up-to-date hardware and software for the students, enabling them to acquire the knowledge and skill necessary for using computers, to have chances for practice, and to play a leading part in the future information society. It also lends support to the faculty members' research and classes with multi-media, and actively promotes computerization of the university's administrative and academic affairs.


Dormitory

The student dormitory provides a common place for the students, who cannot commute from home to school, to board, lodge and study. This dormitory is also open for some undergraduate and graduate students during the summer and winter vacation. Though it is a small one, which can accommodate 252 students, the dormitory governing board does its best to promote the students' convenience and to govern it progressively.


Student Guidance Center

The center helps students to adjust themselves to the campus life and provides career counseling about their individual problems including personality, human relationships, and future career. In addition, the center conducts surveys and studies theories related to the guidance and counseling of students.


University Newspaper

The University Newspaper contributes to building up a sound academic atmosphere and desirable campus culture by publishing articles and research essays, and reporting professors' and students' activities as well as events on campus.


Educational Broadcasting Station

The Broadcasting Station aims to encourage students' emotional development and promote the freedom of speech at the university by reporting speedily and correctly students' activities and events on campus, and by producing and broadcasting music and cultural programs.


Lifelong Education Center

The Lifelong Education Center provides community residents with a chance to persue self-development. The Lifelong Education Center also provides community residents several professional education program and continuing education programs as well as fostering open education in society


The Education Center of Gifted Children

The education Center for gifted Children identifies children with exceptional ability to the fullest potential with accelerated programs in mathematics and science area to achieve their self-actualization and to contribute to the national development.
